Transparency matters. Here's exactly how WordleMaven produces its suggestions and educational guidance.

The solver

The solver maintains the full set of candidate answers consistent with your feedback so far. For each possible guess it estimates the expected information gain — how much, on average, that guess will narrow the candidate pool — and ranks suggestions accordingly. This is the same entropy-based reasoning expert players use.

The hint engine

Hints ladder from gentle nudges (letter presence, vowel counts) to direct recommendations, so you control how much help you receive without spoiling the puzzle.
