Hard mode requires that any green or yellow tile be reused in subsequent guesses. This restricts your ability to test new letters — but smart play still wins.

1. Pick a flexible opener. CRANE has multiple anagram-like follow-ups.
2. Front-load common letters. The more high-frequency letters you can lock in, the more flexible your follow-ups.

4. Don't waste guesses on rare patterns. If two candidates remain and you have 4 guesses left — just guess.
